A medicine gentle, rooted & alive.

At Lafiyya, every gesture is part of a millennia-old tradition of care: massage therapy, foot reflexology and hijama. Three practices, one intention — guiding you toward lasting balance, without medication or invasive technology.

Why gentle medicine

Why gentle medicine.

Natural, traditional, complementary — gentle medicine is attracting more and more followers. It is practised to relieve pain, ease stress, and improve well-being. Natural is the word that resonates.

No heavy drug treatment, no chemical molecules, no devices: these are therapeutic practices that rest on a particular philosophy, with their own understandings of illness and care.

Healing through gentle medicine means accepting a return to the essential and aligning with the laws of nature.

Gentle medicine distinguishes itself from conventional medicine through natural therapies rooted in ancestral traditions — Eastern, Arab, Western. I chose reflexology, massage therapy and hijama. Through these practices, I guide you toward vital balance.

The practitioner

Youssouf Touré.

Born into a family of healers, I grew up watching my mother relieve those who came seeking her help, morning to night. Very early on, my brothers and I were initiated — every day after school, lending a hand to the woman who rose before everyone and went to bed last.

As the youngest in the family, I was given free rein for my university studies in finance. That is how I came to Quebec to study at UQAM. With a degree in economics and management, I spent fifteen years in financial institutions — RBC, BNC, Desjardins. But all those years, I was drawn to the human body in its three dimensions: the physical, the mind, the soul.

Fifteen years after my bachelor's degree, the heritage of my ancestors caught up with me. Certified in Swedish massage from the Ikra school, trained in foot reflexology (levels 1 & 2) and Chinese massage (Tuina).
